Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2025. /Kabar/. The day before yesterday in Bishkek, Defense Minister Ruslan Mukambetov met with the Defense Minister of Belarus Viktor Khrenin.
According to the ministry, the most pressing issues of bilateral cooperation between the defense ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus were discussed.
"Kyrgyzstan and Belarus have traditionally friendly relations based on mutual respect and mutually beneficial cooperation. In the historical and political context, there are no contradictions and unresolved issues between our countries. There is great potential for expanding and strengthening relations between the two countries," said Ruslan Mukambetov.
Finally, the parties signed bilateral cooperation plan between the Ministries of Defense of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus for 2026. The meeting of the parties took place within the framework of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization member states.
