Bishkek, April 27, 2026. /Kabar/. Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun arrived in Bishkek on an official visit on April 27.
According to the Kyrgyz Defense Ministry, during the visit, Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun met with Kyrgyz Defense Minister Ruslan Mukambetov.
Ruslan Mukambetov thanked the delegation members for their visit to Kyrgyzstan and noted that this trip is important for the further development of Kyrgyz-Chinese military and military-technical cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation in the military and military-technical spheres and exchanged views on pressing regional and international security issues.
A meeting of defense ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states will be held in Bishkek on April 28.
