Bishkek, May 6, 2025. / Kabar /. On May 6, 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Meder Abakirov met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mekin Mustafa Kemal Ökem.
During the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the official visit of the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Numan Kurtulmuş, to the Kyrgyz Republic on April 27–29 of this year and discussed further plans for organizing high- and top-level visits.
The sides also exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of Kyrgyz-Turkish relations in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as on pressing consular issues.
