Bishkek, May 3, 2025. /Kabar/. On June 2, 2025, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Temirbek Erkinov received Minister of State for External Affairs, Environment, Forestry and Climate Change of India Kirti Vardhan Singh, who is in Bishkek on a working visit.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that during the meeting, the parties noted the high level of Kyrgyz-Indian relations and expressed satisfaction with the progressive development of bilateral cooperation, including in the context of upcoming high-level visits and events.
Having noted areas of mutual interest such as healthcare, cultural and humanitarian cooperation and information and communication technologies, the parties emphasized the importance of deepening interaction in these areas through regular dialogue at the level of relevant departments and holding meetings of working groups.
The parties positively assessed the interaction of the two countries within the framework of international and regional organizations, including the SCO and the UN, and also exchanged views on current issues on the agenda in the field of environmental protection and climate change. At the end of the meeting, the parties, noting the importance of educating foreign students, agreed to continue working together to ensure comfortable and safe conditions for their stay.
