Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2025. /Kabar/. Yesterday, October 29, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Meder Abakirov received Indian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, Birender Singh Yadav.
According to the ministry, during the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of Kyrgyz-Indian relations. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of previously reached agreements following high-level official visits, particularly regarding strengthening cooperation in trade, transport, and investment.
The Indian ambassador expressed his readiness to facilitate the further strengthening and development of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade and economics.
During the meeting, the parties focused on the prospects for Kyrgyz-Indian cooperation in multilateral formats, particularly within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
They also emphasized the importance of India's active participation in events planned during Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship, with the aim of strengthening the Organization's potential and jointly promoting regional initiatives.
