Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2025. /Kabar/. On September 23, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Meder Abakirov met with British Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Nicholas Bowler.
According to the data of the foreign policy department, the parties discussed the priority areas of Kyrgyz-British cooperation in the economic, trade-investment, banking and mining industries.
The parties focused on implementation of the project with the Concrete Canvas company for the construction of the factory, to the issues of interaction with the export credit agency UKEF (UK Export Finance), as well as with the company "Boston Consulting Group" (BCG) within the framework of the development of the Strategy for the development of the critical minerals sector.
At the end of the meeting, the both sides expressed their interest in further strengthening of bilateral relations and agreed to continue work on the organization of high-level visits and negotiations to maintain political contacts.
