Bishkek, March 12, 2025. /Kabar/. Minister of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan Absattar Syrgabaev met with the Chinese delegation headed by Governor of the Ak-Suu Administrative District of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China Adili Aili.
The Transport Ministry reported that the parties discussed the development of cooperation in the field of transport and logistics, increasing the capacity of border checkpoints, modernizing the infrastructure of the recently opened Bedel checkpoint and ensuring its full functioning.
Minister Syrgabaev emphasized the strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China, noting the increase in the volume of cargo transportation in recent years.
He also pointed out the importance of the Chinese side's support for the construction project of the Bedel - Barskoon - Uchturpan - Aksu highway.
In turn, Adili Aili expressed interest in further developing cooperation and emphasized the need to implement infrastructure projects.
Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan also took part in the meeting.
