"Today is an important day for the entire banking system of our country. Today we are celebrating two important events - the 100th anniversary of savings activity in Kyrgyzstan, and the opening of the new building of Eldik Bank.
As the head of state noted, the opening of the new building of Eldik Bankis one of the signs of changes and development taking place in the country.
"This is an indicator that we are taking a confident step forward," - said Sadyr Zhaparov.
The president added that today Eldik Bank is one of the largest banks in the country. It is a financial institution with a capital of more than 80 billion soms, bank implementing the strategic development tasks of the state.
It is known that Eldik Bank continues the traditions of deposit activity that have been formed for century, plays important socio-economic role in ensuring financial access and increasing citizens' confidence in the banking system.
Eldik Bank actively participate in financing infrastructure, energy, transport and social projects of national importance. The bank will provide loans for the construction of one of the largest energy projects of our country - the Upper Naryn Hydroelectric Power Plant cascade, for transport infrastructure development projects, for the development of the aviation industry, and for supporting the country's educational and medical institutions, - the president said.
