Bishkek, Nov. 3, 2026 /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, specialists in the railway sector are undergoing training as part of a cooperation initiative with Turkiye. Kyrgyz Temir Zholu reports.
According to the enterprise, the training is being conducted with the participation of two expert instructors from the Turkish Railway Academy (Türkiye Demiryolu Akademisi), which operates under the structure of the Turkish State Railways (TCDD). The training focuses on the topic: "Repair and Maintenance of Railway Tracks."
The program includes both theoretical and practical sessions covering railway track maintenance, the identification and rectification of defects, the upkeep of railway switches (turnouts), the measurement of track geometry, and the planning of repair work.
The practical field visit to a railway section near Bishkek is planned, during which local specialists will join the experts to conduct a joint inspection of the tracks.
