Bishkek, Sept. 3, 2025 /Kabar/. First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Asein Isaev met today with newly appointed Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek, Volker Frobarth, on the occasion of his appointment, the Foreign Ministry reported.
The Kyrgyz side congratulated Dr. Frobarth on the start of his work in Kyrgyzstan, expressed confidence in the further strengthening of productive and constructive cooperation with the OSCE, and outlined key priorities for the successful interaction.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the work of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek and emphasized the importance of aligning project activities with national priorities within the framework of the Consultative Mechanism. Special attention was given to areas of cooperation within the three OSCE dimensions, including strengthening the capacity of law enforcement and border agencies, promoting the ‘green economy,’ supporting the rule of law, and protecting human rights.
In turn, F.Frobarth expressed his readiness for effective cooperation with the state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic and assured the Kyrgyz side of his commitment to the successful implementation of joint projects and initiatives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation and expressed readiness to achieve tangible results for the benefit of the Kyrgyz Republic.
