Bishkek, March 5, 2025. /Kabar/. On March 4, Deputy Foreign Minister Meder Abakirov and State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Marko Stucin held the 3rd round of political consultations in Bishkek.
According to the foreign ministry, during the talks, the parties discussed in detail key issues of bilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Slovenia. Particular attention was paid to deepening mutually beneficial trade and economic relations, as well as exchanging experience in various fields.
The parties also considered issues of expanding the legal framework between the two states and organizing mutual high-level visits.
Particular attention was paid to mountain initiatives, in particular, the International Conference “Global Mountain Dialogue for Sustainable Development”, the World Festival of Mountain Youth, as well as the implementation of the “Mountain Five Years” program, the results of which are planned to be summarized in 2027 within the framework of the Second Global Mountain Summit “Bishkek+25”.
