FMs of Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan hold telephone conversation

Bishkek, July 8, 2025. /Kabar/. On July 7, 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.

During the conversation, the parties discussed current issues of multilateral cooperation, and exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

In particular, they discussed preparations for the upcoming Third Conference of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC), which will be held on August 5-8, 2025 in Avaza, Turkmenistan, including the planned participation of the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic. The parties emphasized the importance of successfully holding this international event, noting its significance for promoting the interests of the LLDC countries, strengthening regional cooperation and promoting sustainable development.

At the end of the conversation, the ministers confirmed their commitment to further deepening Kyrgyz-Turkmen cooperation both bilaterally and within the framework of international organizations.
