Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2025. /Kabar/. From now on, foreign citizens arriving in the country will be able to carry out their activities using a residence card, Seitek Zhumakadyr uulu, Director of consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, spoke at briefing for media representatives.
As the Director noted, the card will contain the foreign citizen's personal data.
It will include the following information:
- the foreign citizen's first and last name;
- health indicators;
- salary;
- tax deductions;
- information about the inviting party and employer.
The card will also function as a bank card.
"The residence card system was developed to ensure the security of the country and foreign citizens. Furthermore, we aimed to reduce bureaucracy and save time. On the one hand, we need to know who is arriving and working in the country, and on the other, we need to pay attention to the security of the citizens themselves," he said.
At the end of the event, the director of the agency presented residence cards to foreign citizens working in Kyrgyz companies.
