Foreign guests praise professionalism and courtesy of police officers in Kyrchyn

Bishkek, Sept. 7, 2026 /Kabar/. In the Kyrchyn Gorge, foreign guests praised the work of police officers in maintaining public order and safety, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the survey, the foreign guests noted the attentiveness, courtesy, and professionalism of law enforcement officers.

They expressed particular gratitude for the opportunity to communicate freely with police officers, many of whom speak foreign languages. According to the guests, this helps them quickly obtain necessary information and assistance.

The 6th World Nomad Games were held in Kyrgyzstan from Aug. 31 to Sept. 6, 2026, with the main competitions taking place in the Issyk-Kul region. More than 3,000 athletes from 109 countries participated in the Games.

In total, more than 15,000 Ministry of Internal Affairs officers ensured security at international events in Kyrgyzstan. As part of the 6th World Nomad Games, police officers worked directly at the venues of sports competitions and cultural events throughout the entire duration of the games, ensuring order and the safety of spectators and participants, as well as responding promptly to requests for assistance.
