Foreign Ministries of Kyrgyzstan and Mali sign MoU

Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2025 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev met with his counterpart from Mali Abdoulaye Diop in New York, on September 24, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

According to the Foreign Ministry, Kulubaev expressed confidence that the talks will give further impetus to the development of Kyrgyz-Malian relations. He emphasized his readiness to strengthen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest and invited his counterpart to visit Kyrgyzstan.

The parties discussed current bilateral issues, including developing political dialogue and cooperation within international organizations such as the UN and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Minister Diop confirmed Mali's interest in strengthening friendly relations with Kyrgyzstan.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
