Bishkek, May 23, 2025. / Kabar /. Foreign citizens and stateless persons staying on the territory of Kyrgyzstan in violation of the migration legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic have the opportunity to legalize their legal status on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic by June 10, 2025.
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov signed the Decree "On measures to regulate the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons staying on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic", according to which, in order to regulate the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons staying on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic in violation of migration legislation, in accordance with Articles 66, 70, 71 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, it is decided:
To provide an opportunity for foreign citizens and stateless persons staying on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic in violation of the migration legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic to legalize their legal status on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic by June 10, 2025.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic shall carry out measures to identify foreign citizens and stateless persons staying in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic in violation of the migration legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. Authorized state bodies in the field of external migration shall take comprehensive measures to implement this Decree, including conducting information and explanatory events.
Control over the implementation of this Decree shall be assigned to the Department for Control over the Implementation of Decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
