Bishkek, Nov. 21, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz State Secretary Marat Imankulov attended the presentation of the book "The Forty Knights of Manas," published by the Manas National Academy.

The event was held as part of the implementation of President Sadyr Zhaparov's decrees "On additional measures for the comprehensive study and popularization of the invaluable spiritual heritage of the Kyrgyz people, the Manas epic" and "National Spirit – Global Heights."

In his welcoming remarks, the State Secretary emphasized that the forty knights described in the Manas epic are a symbol of a great heritage glorifying Kyrgyz statehood, national unity, freedom, and spiritual heights. He noted that the Knights of Manas are not simply mythological figures, but the embodiment of courage, unity, and devotion to a great ideal, examples of true patriotism demonstrated in the defense of the people and their native land. Marat Imankulov expressed hope that this book will become an important ideological source for educating the younger generation, strengthening national identity, and renewing historical memory. The book reveals the heroic image, historical role, and creative embodiment of the forty faithful companions of Manas. The publication is based on academic publications of the versions by Sagynbai Orozbak uulu and Sayakbai Karala uulu.

Marat Imankulov called on the public, all institutions, and organizations to actively promote the dissemination of national spiritual values ​​and convey the essence and spirit of the Manas epic to new generations.
