Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2025 /Kabar/. Since the beginning of 2025, prices for fuels and lubricants in Kyrgyzstan have increased significantly, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank, Azat Kozubekov told at press conference in Bishkek.

According to him, the cost of gasoline has increased by 12.6% since the beginning of the year, and diesel fuel by 8.4%. Kozubekov explained that the price increase is primarily due to repair work at oil refineries in Russia, which is the main supplier of fuels and lubricants to Kyrgyzstan.

He noted that fuel price increase has become one of the factors accelerating inflation in the country, along with the influence of external economic conditions and rising global energy prices.
