Bishkek, Oct 3.2025 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz dancers rank among top 8 best duos in the world at Fusion Concept 2025, the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to the ministry, the Fusion Concept qualifying tournament was held in Kyrgyzstan on June 15, 2025, to determine the national champions. Sixteen dance duos from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Russia participated in the competition. The winners were representatives from Kyrgyzstan, who earned the right to represent their country at the world championship.
The main stage of Fusion Concept took place on September 13-14 in Paris, France.
A qualifying tournament involving dancers from across the European Union was held on September 13. Four duos were determined as a result. On September 14, the final took place at the Cirque d'Hiver Bouglione de Paris Grand Arena. National selection champions from the USA, Japan, Germany, Korea, France, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan participated as well.
The Kyrgyz duo was among the top eight duos in the world. As national champions, they were given the right to choose their opponents and chose the strongest representatives from the USA – Kida the Great & Bari the Goat. The first battle against the Americans ended in victory for the Kyrgyz dancers, which came as a real shock to the audience.
In the semifinals, they faced breakdancers Icey & Yasmin (Alaska and Japan). The Kyrgyz duo's performance sparked a storm of emotion in the audience, with applause continuing throughout their performance. The duel ended with the Kyrgyz duo's victory, advancing them to the final.
In the final battle, the Kyrgyz dancers competed against the French team Junior Ydat & Willis, who ultimately became the 2025 Fusion Concept World Champions.
