Bishkek, Feb. 5, 2026. /Kabar/. Cabinet of Ministers is addressing the issue of the garment industry, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev informed at Jogorku Kenesh.
He noted that meetings had been held with entrepreneurs.
"We discussed the issue of certification, and the issue of VAT payers was resolved. This issue was considered at the last Council meeting within the EAEU, and the Council instructed the Secretariat to adopt and develop a resolution on this matter. Last week, the Secretariat concluded that there is indeed a significant problem. I can say that the barriers and misunderstandings with Kazakhstan and Russia have been resolved. Furthermore, the Wildberries company has registered as a VAT payer," he said.
