According to him, the Georgian Prime Minister is visiting Kyrgyzstan for the first time on official visit at such high level.

"If we look back at history, diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in 1992. And in 1997, a special agreement on friendship and cooperation was signed. This document continues to form the main legal basis for bilateral cooperation," Osmonaliev noted.

The former diplomat also emphasized that in diplomatic practice, visits are divided into levels: a state visit is considered the highest, followed by official visit, then a working visit, and then other meeting formats.

As a reminder, on June 11, at the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze arrived in Kyrgyzstan on official visit.
