Bishkek, Oct. 9, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan Airports JSC comprises 11 operating airports and thousands of professionals united by single goal: to make flights within the country and internationally convenient, safe, and accessible, Manasbek Samidinov, Chairman of the Board of Kyrgyzstan Airports JSC said.

According to him, 2025 was a truly special year, large-scale modernization of all regional airports and reopened the gateways to Naryn and Kazarman. This is a huge step forward; every region of the country now has access to modern air travel.

In parallel, new airports are being built in Jalal-Abad, Osh, and Issyk-Kul. A large-scale reconstruction of the terminal at Manas International Airport has begun; it will be expanded by 18,000 square meters. The runway has been completely renovated, and reconstruction of the runway in Osh is next. After completion of this work, the country's two largest airports will be equipped with Category III lighting systems, which will allow aircraft to land and depart even in adverse weather conditions. In the first nine months of this year, Kyrgyzstan's airports handled more than 4.5 million passengers and over 38,000 flights. Manas Management handled 20,000 tons of cargo, strengthening the country's transport potential and its position in international logistics chains, said Samidinov.

He also noted that national personnel are returning to aviation. While previously there was only one Kyrgyz captain, today there are nine, and more than 15 pilots have been trained abroad – in Austria, Ethiopia, and India. Asman Airlines' fleet consists of three aircraft, and next year, new Airbus A320s and a fourth Dash Q-400 will arrive.
