Bishkek, Oct. 2, 2026. /Kabar/. The National History Museum in Bishkek is expanding cooperation with international organizations in the field of preserving and popularizing historical and cultural heritage, the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy reported.

On October 1, Nazgul Omurakova, Director of the History Museum, met with Nuri Aksu, Project Manager of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, and Osman Ozsoy, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Turkic World Foundation.

The parties discussed the creation of joint cultural platforms and the implementation of exhibition projects that will allow for a broader presentation of Kyrgyzstan's archaeological and ethnographic collections internationally.

Special attention was paid to the preservation and popularization of the historical and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples, the implementation of joint cultural, research, and exhibition projects, and the organization of experience exchange programs between museum specialists.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed interest in implementing long-term joint initiatives and further developing inter-museum cooperation.
