Bishkek, Feb. 17, 2025. /Kabar/. The working group of the Kyrgyz Republic on industry, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Iskender Asylkulov, held a working meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, chaired by the Deputy Minister Muhammet Kasym Genullu.
The issues of cooperation in the industrial sphere were discussed at the meeting.
As part of the implementation of the agreements, Iskender Asylkulov raised the issue of opening an industrial zone in Chui region. Following the meeting, the parties agreed that the Turkish side will arrive on a working visit in April 2025 to familiarize itself with the proposed plot of land for the construction of the industrial zone.
Also, a meeting of the Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic with representatives of the Ankara Jewelers and Watches Association was held in the building of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting, the head of the industry department, Arslan Baziyev, made a presentation to Turkish jewelry companies with the aim of attracting Turkish technologies to the jewelry production sector.
