Bishkek, July 14, 2025. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev took part in a collective meeting of Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping with the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the SCO member states on July 15 in Beijing.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the meeting, Chairman Xi Jinping emphasized the strategic importance of strengthening mutual trust and solidarity within the SCO, noted the importance of further developing political dialogue, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the member states. He expressed China's commitment to promoting joint initiatives in the interests of peace, stability and sustainable development in the region.
Xi Jinping in his speech paid special attention to the priorities and summing up the results of China's chairmanship in the SCO in 2024-2025, including issues of deepening coordination in the fight against modern challenges and threats.
The meeting was also attended by the heads of the foreign ministries of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the People's Republic of China, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
