Jerui brings 10.5 billion soms to Kyrgyz budget

Bishkek, Oct. 21, 2025 /Kabar/. In the first nine months of this year, Alliance Altyn has transferred over 10.5 billion soms in taxes and mandatory payments to the state budget.

According to the company, since the start of development at the Jerui mine in 2015, the company has paid over 34.8 billion soms to the state treasury. 26.4 billion soms are taxes on gold sales. Last year, Alliance Altyn was among the top three largest taxpayers in the country and ranked second by the State Tax Service (STS).

In addition to paying taxes, the company invests in the development of the region. This year alone, over 620 million soms have been allocated for the improvement of Talas region, Shumkar-Uya village, where the mine is located. The funds are used for road repairs, infrastructure development, and support for local initiatives.

Currently, the company employs 867 people, the majority of whom are residents of the Talas region. Alliance Altyn consciously prioritizes local talent, creating stable jobs and helping people gain new skills.

The company places significant emphasis on environmental protection. Alliance Altyn funds environmental protection measures and monitors the air, water, and soil conditions at the mine site. This year over 70 million soms were allocated for environmental payments and environmental restoration programs. As part of Zhashyl ​​Muras project, trees were planted and green areas were maintained this spring.
