Bishkek, Feb. 10, 2026 /Kabar/. Kamchybek Tashiev has been relieved of his duties as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security.
The corresponding decree was signed by President Sadyr Zhaparov.
Kamchybek Tashiev had headed the State Committee for National Security since October 16, 2020.
Tashiev was replaced as acting chairman by Zhumgalbek Shabdanbekov, who previously served as deputy chairman of the State Committee for National Security and headed the committee's 9th Service.
