Bishkek, April 20, 2026. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev participated in an informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Antalya on April 18, 2026.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on pressing regional and global issues, as well as interactions with partners within the OTS+ format.
In his speech, Minister Kulubaev expressed serious concern about the escalation of tensions in the Middle East, emphasizing that the consequences of the crisis extend beyond its geographical boundaries and negatively impact transport, logistics, and economic cooperation among countries in the region.
The minister called for the current conflicts to be resolved exclusively through peaceful, political, and diplomatic means based on international law, and expressed hope that the parties to the conflict would reach mutually acceptable solutions.
Particular attention was paid to the preparation and holding of the upcoming informal Summit of the Heads of State of the OTS in Kazakhstan, as well as the Organization's operating procedures.
