Kulubaev takes part in 3rd meeting of GCC - Central Asia Strategic Dialogue

Bishkek, April 17, 2025. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev took part in the 3rd meeting of the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council - Central Asia Strategic Dialogue in Al-Kuwait.

The Foreign Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that in his speech, Kulubaev informed about the main directions and priorities for the development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the countries of Central Asia and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.

He noted that in recent years, interaction between the Kyrgyz Republic and Arab countries has significantly intensified and expressed the readiness of the Kyrgyz side to further strengthen mutually beneficial interregional cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.

In accordance with the agenda of the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the agreements reached within the framework of the first Summit of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Gulf Cooperation Council, held on July 19, 2023 in Jeddah and considered readiness for the upcoming second summit in May 2025.

The heads of the delegations also exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in the political, trade and economic, investment, transport and communications, cultural and humanitarian fields, as well as on current international and regional issues.
