Bishkek, Aug. 20, 2025. /Kabar/. On August 19, 2025, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan Maksat Mamytkanov held a meeting with First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Aliyev.
During the meeting, issues of trade and economic cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Azerbaijan were discussed, in particular, the possibility of the Azerbaijani side implementing projects in the energy sector of Kyrgyzstan and prospects for increasing mutual trade between the two countries.
The interlocutors also touched upon the projects being implemented within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan development Fund, as well as certain aspects of the development of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan–Turkmenistan -Caspian Sea-Azerbaijan transport corridor.
