Bishkek, Feb. 13, 2025. /Kabar/. A meeting was held between the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Italy Taalai Bazarbaev and diplomatic adviser to the mayor of Rome, envoy Fabio Sokolovich.
The Kyrgyz Embassy said that during the meeting the parties noted with satisfaction the progressive development of Kyrgyz-Italian cooperation across the entire spectrum of bilateral relations.
Particular attention was paid to the active development of cultural exchange between Kyrgyzstan and Italy, symbolized by the opening of the Kyrgyzstan Park in Rome in 2024.
In addition, plans for the implementation of cooperation within the framework of the signed Memorandum of Cooperation between the cities of Bishkek and Rome, as well as the upcoming joint cultural events in Rome, were discussed.
Bazarbaev proposed to organize a visit of representatives of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office to Rome to exchange experience and knowledge on landscaping, greening of territories, and development of the urban environment. Sokolovich expressed his readiness to continue positive interaction with the Kyrgyz side and expressed his readiness to organize a visit of the Bishkek City Hall delegation to Rome to develop cooperation at the municipal level.
