Bishkek, Jan. 21, 2026. /Kabar/. As of November 30, 2025, 21 commercial banks and 306 branches of commercial banks were operating in the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the National Bank, since the beginning of the year, the total assets of the banking sector amounted to 1 trillion 181.8 billion soms, an increase of 44.9 percent.
The volume of the loan portfolio of banking sector clients increased by 43.6 percent to 489.3 billion soms;
The volume of financing according to Islamic principles increased by 100.8 percent to 18.1 billion soms;
The total deposit base of banking sector clients increased by 38.8 percent to 822.4 billion soms.
