Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit, which is being held in Dubai.
The Cabinet of Ministers reported that Kasymaliev expressed gratitude for the hospitality and noted the successful holding of the international summit, which created a unique platform for exchanging views on key issues on the global agenda. He conveyed warm greetings from Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
"The Kyrgyz Republic is deeply interested in developing and strengthening partnership with the United Arab Emirates in all areas. Over the past four years, relations between the two countries have reached a new level. Your contribution to strengthening friendship between our countries is very significant. Among the Gulf countries, the UAE is the main trading partner of the Kyrgyz Republic. In January-November 2024, the volume of trade amounted to 155 million US dollars, exports - 99 million, imports - 56 million dollars. We believe that these figures can be brought to an even higher level," he said.
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his commitment to further strengthening relations between the two countries and emphasized the UAE's readiness to cooperate in areas of mutual interest.
During the talks, key aspects of bilateral cooperation were discussed, including strengthening economic ties, infrastructure development, as well as opportunities for implementing joint projects. Particular attention was paid to the issues of deepening strategic partnership in trade, economic, investment spheres, in the field of sustainable development. The parties touched upon the issues of holding the next third meeting of the Kyrgyz-Emirati intergovernmental commission in Bishkek, the investment forum in the format of the "Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Persian Gulf and Central Asia" in Bishkek, and also considered issues on the activities of the holding company "Abu Dhabi Kyrgyz Investment". Following the meeting, the interlocutors emphasized their readiness to expand cooperation in promising areas.
