Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers to allocate 38.8 bln soms to support economy

Bishkek, Aug. 27, 2026. /Kabar/. The Cabinet of Ministers will allocate 38.8 billion soms to support the economy, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev told local newspaper.

Daniyar Amangeldiev said that the Cabinet of Ministers' work plan aimed at maintaining prices would be adopted in the near future.

“It is envisaged to allocate approximately 38.8 billion soms within its framework. The allocated funds will be used to support processors, agricultural producers and livestock breeders.

One of the main goals of the work plan is to ensure the release of at least 20 thousand heads of pedigree livestock to the market.

Also, to ensure food security, the Cabinet of Ministers plans to support farmers and build logistics complexes on the instructions of the president,” Amangeldiev noted.

He added that these measures are aimed at preserving the harvest of domestic agricultural producers, timely supplying the market with food, and ensuring that the country’s domestic food needs are met by at least 70 percent through domestic production.
