Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2026 /Kabar/. Temir Sariev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry(CCI) of Kyrgyzstan, proposed that the two countries establish an Industrial Cooperation Center at the Kyrgyz-Chinese Investment Forum.
According to him, the center's main objective will be practical support for joint projects, from finding reliable partners and project development to attracting investment and launching production.
"The center's objectives will be practical: Chinese technologies - Kyrgyz partner - investment project - ready-made enterprise. We will seek reliable partners, develop projects, support investors, help resolve emerging issues, and bring the project from the signing of memoranda to the launch of production." "I propose establishing a simple criterion for our success – not the number of forums held and memoranda signed, but the number of investments attracted and joint ventures opened," said Temir Sariev.
Following this initiative, the CCI President also proposed that Chinese businesses jointly establish 100 high-tech enterprises in Kyrgyzstan over the next two to three years.
According to him, these enterprises should be created through Chinese investment and technology, in collaboration with Kyrgyz partners and specialists.
He noted that the implementation of this initiative will create approximately 1,000 jobs, introduce new technologies, form new value chains, and stimulate the development of small and medium-sized businesses around large enterprises.
The CCI President also urged Chinese entrepreneurs to consider Kyrgyzstan not only as a market with a population of 7.5 million, but also as a platform for entering the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union and Central Asia.
"The new China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan transport corridor opens up additional opportunities for the development of logistics, trade, and industrial cooperation."
