Kyrgyz citizens warned of risks in Pakistani districts – recommendations and contacts

Bishkek, March 2, 2026 /Kabar/. The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Pakistan informs about the difficult situation in certain districts of the country. Rallies and protests are taking place in some districts, and armed clashes continue in areas bordering Afghanistan. The risk of terrorist incidents also remains high.

In this regard, Kyrgyz citizens are advised to avoid areas of armed conflict and crowded places, observe precautions in public places, carry identification documents, check the expiration dates of their passports, visas, and other permits, maintain contact with employers and educational institutions, and, if their address changes, provide the consulate with current contact information.
