Bishkek, Jan. 15, 2026 /Kabar/. On January 13, 2026, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Kylychbek Sultan met with Pakistan's Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichee, Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, with particular emphasis on the practical aspects of organizing the Kyrgyz culture days in Pakistan.
Following the talks, agreement was reached to establish a joint working group to coordinate the preparation and implementation of this cultural event. The parties also expressed their intention to develop program of joint cultural initiatives, including events dedicated to the celebration of Nooruz.
The sides emphasized that holding the Days of Culture will be important step in strengthening friendly ties between the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, and will also contribute to the further development of cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
