Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2025. /Kabar/. First Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev attended the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Energy and three international companies, leaders in the supply, installation, and assembly of energy storage systems.

The document aims to develop and implement modern energy storage technologies, increase the resilience of the national energy system, and support Kyrgyzstan's transition to renewable energy sources.

As part of this cooperation, a pilot project has already been implemented: a 100 kW energy storage unit with 200% capacity has been installed in test mode at NEGK, providing a power output of 100 kW for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Solar panels mounted on the building's roof provide the energy.

The memorandum was signed by Energy Minister Taalaibek Ibraev and representatives of Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL), Xiamen Ampace Technology Limited (Ampace), and Yangpu Xinchuan Linghang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (YXL).

These companies are leading global manufacturers and suppliers of energy storage system solutions and have significant experience implementing large-scale renewable energy projects. Implementation of these agreements will attract advanced technologies and investment, as well as improve the reliability of energy supply in the Kyrgyz Republic.
