Kyrgyz energy workers are training in Tatarstan

Bishkek, Dec. 8, 2025 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz power engineers are undergoing training in working under voltage in Tatarstan, Ministry of Energy reports.

The department, as part of cooperation with other countries, is negotiating on the exchange of experience in the energy sector, conducting training using modern technologies.

Accordingly, 2 brigades of 8 people from the Bishkek Electric Grid Enterprise, a branch of the National Electric Grids of Kyrgyzstan are in Zainsk, Tatarstan, to improve their knowledge and exchange experience in order to learn how to carry out work on high-voltage overhead and cable power transmission lines and distribution structures.

The decision to implement such a pilot project was made during a working visit of the working group of the National Electric Grids of Kyrgyzstan to Kazan. Tatarstan side sent letter expressing its readiness to train our employees free of charge. The training will be held from December 1 to December 16.

Based on the results of the training, the issue of equipping the brigades with new personal protective equipment during voltage regulation will be considered for their safety.
