Bishkek, July 15, 2025. /Kabar/. At the initiative of the Iranian side, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Abbas Araghchi met in the Chinese city of Tianjin, as part of the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the SCO member states.
According to the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, during the meeting, current issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, including the further development of trade, economic, transport and logistics ties between the countries.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the results of the 14th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation, held on April 28, 2025 in Tehran.
An exchange of views also took place on further cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations, as well as on the current situation in the Middle East region.
