Kyrgyz FM meets with ALIPH Foundation executive director

Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2026 /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Zheenbek Kulubaev, held a meeting in Geneva with the Executive Director of the ALIPH Foundation, Valérie Freland on 24 February 2026.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the ALIPH Foundation in the field of cultural heritage preservation.

The minister emphasized the Kyrgyz side’s interest in further expanding partnership with the Foundation, strengthening expert-level engagement, and drawing on international best practices in the protection of cultural assets. In turn, the executive director confirmed the Foundation’s readiness to continue supporting projects in Kyrgyzstan.

Particular attention was given to promoting cultural diversity and enhancing intercultural dialogue, including the significance of the World Nomad Games as a unique platform for showcasing and promoting traditional heritage.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that the exchange of views would provide additional impetus to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
