Kyrgyz FM met with delegates of 4th People's Kurultai

Bishkek, Dec. 24, 2025 /Kabar/. On December 24, 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubayev met with 30 delegates of the 4th People's Kurultai, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

The delegates represent diaspora organizations and associations of compatriots from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Turkey, the Federal Republic of Germany, the United States of America, Canada, the Italian Republic, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Lithuania, the Slovak Republic, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Korea, and Egypt.

During the meeting, Kulubaev provided participants with detailed overview of the main areas of the country's current policy, the socioeconomic development of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, which are being implemented in line with the objectives set by President Sadyr Zhaparov to protect the rights and legitimate interests of Kyrgyz citizens living abroad. Particular attention was paid to protecting the rights and interests of compatriots in both neighboring and non-neighboring countries. Delegates, speaking on behalf of their diasporas, outlined the most pressing issues facing Kyrgyz citizens abroad.

Minister emphasized that all proposals and issues raised during the meeting will be given priority attention, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to strengthen cooperation with the diasporas and protect the rights and interests of Kyrgyz citizens abroad. The head of the Foreign Ministry expressed confidence that the proposals will make a significant contribution to the further development of the Kyrgyz Republic.
