Bishkek, June 25, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev today received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Kyrgyz Republic, Iyad bin Ghazi Hakim.
According to the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed the current state and development prospects of Kyrgyz-Saudi relations in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.
Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev emphasized the importance of maintaining active political dialogue and further deepening the mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries.
During the meeting, Ambassador Iyad bin Ghazi Hakim congratulated Kyrgyzstan on its election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2027-2028 and expressed his readiness to further develop Kyrgyz-Saudi cooperation.
Concluding the meeting, Jeenbek Kulubaev congratulated the new ambassador on the start of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan and wished him success in implementing his tasks and initiatives.
