Bishkek, April 17, 2026. /Kabar/. On April 17, 2026, Jeenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, will attend the CIS Foreign Ministers' Council meeting and the Central Asia-Russia ministerial meeting, both to be held in Moscow.
The CIS Foreign Ministers' Council meeting is expected to exchange views on current issues on the international agenda and cooperation within the CIS, as well as adopt documents to be submitted for consideration by the highest bodies of the Commonwealth.
At the meeting of the heads of foreign affairs agencies of Central Asia and the Russian Federation, participants will discuss the implementation of the Joint Action Plan for 2025–2027, approved by the heads of state at the second summit of this format in Dushanbe on October 9, 2025. In this context, special attention will be paid to practical steps to eliminate trade barriers, develop transport and logistics corridors, and strengthen regional security.
