Kyrgyz-Georgian Commission on trade and economic cooperation held in Bishkek

Bishkek, June 11, 2026 /Kabar/. The meeting of the Kyrgyz-Georgian Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation took place in Bishkek.

The event attended by Bakyt Sydykov, Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, and representatives of government agencies of the two countries.

This is the first meeting of the Kyrgyz-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission in eleven years. The first meeting was held in 2015 in Georgia.

They discussed expanding trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and concluding new agreements.

The parties held talks on bilateral cooperation in state property management, civil aviation, agriculture, tourism, and a number of other areas.
