Bishkek, March 4, 2026. /Kabar/. In 2025, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic conducted a large-scale inspection of the private medical sector in the country's regions, Aman Osmonov, head of the licensing department of the Ministry of Health told Kabar.
According to him, as part of measures to identify and suppress illegal business activities, the ministry's coordinators in the regions were given corresponding instructions.
A total of 561 institutions were inspected, including private clinics, rehabilitation centers, dental clinics, traditional healers' offices, and other medical facilities. Following these inspections, 263 facilities were closed. It was established that none of these clinics had a license to operate.
"Following the inspections, more than half of them ceased operations, and over 21 million soms in fines were collected," noted Aman Osmonov.
