Bishkek, Aug. 31, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov met today, August 31, with Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Thi Anh Xuan, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games and the SCO+ Meeting, the presidential administration reported.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized the importance of Vo Thi Anh Xuan's visit for further strengthening Kyrgyz-Vietnamese relations and noted Kyrgyzstan's interest in expanding cooperation in trade, economic, investment, transport, tourism, cultural, humanitarian, and other areas.
In turn, Vo Thi Anh Xuan emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is an important and reliable partner for Vietnam in Central Asia. She noted the significant potential for expanding bilateral cooperation and called for intensified joint work in key areas.
The parties also noted the importance of cultural and humanitarian exchanges and tourism in strengthening friendship between peoples and reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening the constructive dialogue.
In conclusion, Sadyr Zhaparov noted successful examples of Kyrgyz-Vietnamese investment cooperation. In particular, the Vietnamese company Rox Group is implementing energy and urban infrastructure projects in Kyrgyzstan.
For his significant contribution to the development of investment cooperation, the head of Rox Group, Chan Anh Tuan, was awarded the Order of Dostuk.
