Bishkek, Dec. 26, 2025. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov, answering questions from delegates at the 4th People's Kurultai, announced payment schedule of external public debt.
Head of state noted that the country's debt has increased annually over the past 30 years, but the government intends to fully repay all obligations by 2035.
According to the president, the annual payment schedule is as follows:
2022 — USD 392 million;
2023 — USD 595 million;
2024 – $688 million;
2025 – $857 million;
2026 – $1 billion 47 million;
2027 – $1 billion 277 million;
2028 – $1 billion 326 million;
2029 – $1 billion 326 million;
2030 – $1 billion 201 million.
"Thus, we will fully repay the debt by 2035," Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized.
