Bishkek, July 8, 2025. /Kabar/. Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Sagynbek Abdumutalip commented on the upcoming state visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov to Tajikistan.
"As a rule, in international practice, the exchange of state visits of heads of state is carried out at certain intervals. The fact that in such a short period, 4 months, by mutual agreement of the parties, we are exchanging state visits with Tajikistan is a positive precedent in the history of Kyrgyz diplomacy.
This demonstrates the firm determination of the head of our state to resolve problematic issues, deepen relations of friendship, mutual trust and good neighborliness with the Central Asian states.
The decision of the President of Kyrgyzstan to accept the invitation of the Tajik side and make a return state visit to Tajikistan in such a short time demonstrates the exceptionally important, priority attention that the head of state pays to improving the socio-economic situation of the residents of the Kyrgyz Republic, including the border Batken and Osh regions, by strengthening relations with neighboring countries," noted Sagynbek Abdumutalip.
