Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2025. /Kabar/. Bilateral meeting between Kyrgyz Interior Minister Ulan Niyazbekov and Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev was held in Bishkek as part of a state visit.
According to the Interior Ministry's press service, Ulan Niyazbekov emphasized the importance of the established cooperation between the agencies:
"Each of our meetings confirms the stable, partner-like, and friendly relations that have developed between our agencies over many years of cooperation. These relations allow us to quickly find solutions and effectively respond to emerging problems at an early stage."
The parties discussed current areas of cooperation, issues related to combating transnational crime, and the need for further coordination of efforts.
"Today, given modern global challenges, from transnational crime to migration processes, it is clear that close coordination of efforts and further strengthening the legal framework for cooperation must be more systematic and effective," noted the Kyrgyz Minister of Internal Affairs.
In conclusion, number of bilateral documents aimed at developing cooperation between the agencies were signed.
